Teeny Tiny Inchie Boxes

I have been having more fun making these stacking triple inchie boxes! I call them Wally's Triple Inchie Boxes due to the family joke about Wally wrapping my Christmas presents in several boxes....inside each other. A small piece of jewelry looks like a small sports car by the time he is done wrapping and gets it under the tree! I am uploading the video on You Tube that gives the dimensions and shows how to cut all three of these boxes, including lids and accordion fold out strips to play with these yourselves! The video will also show you how to make the raggedy edge flowers and leaves and give you ideas for embellishing. All from only 1 sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper! The photos shows them opened, then closed and then stacked inside each other. Makes a neat little swap or RAK project. Let me know what you think and if you are going to try them...I'd love to see yours! Hugs!

Gigi's Grandpeeps Birdhouse Mini

Here is my birdhouse mini that I showed how to make on my last You Tube Video....all decorated!  I know I said I wanted to do one with bright colors to put pics of the Grandbabies in, but after doing the video, I LOVED the Glitz Paper I used and knew I didn't want to give it away.  A sure way for me to keep something is.....Put Pics of the Babes In It!  Thought it might give you some ideas on what to do with yours.  Remember, you can make around SIX of these base albums in an hour so get Crackin'!  Use up that extra paper!LOL....Hugs!

Margaret's Birdhouse

I was thinking about what to take as a gift to a party for a friend of ours that was turning 60.  She loves country and birdhouses and I don't really do county designs....vintage and primitive, yes, but not really classic country.  I decided to go for an eclectic country combining some of my vintage with cheerful colors revolving around a more bright blue instead of country blue.  The corrugated card was just the thing to tie it all together, I do believe!  And she loved it!  Here are some photos so you can judge if you think she really liked it or was just being nice!  To see the full journey in creating this mini album journal, please check out my You Tube Video that I will hopefully have uploaded by tomorrow!

Graphic 45 Mini Album Journal!!!!

Just finished this last Friday and love the way it turned out! I used the Strathmore Drawing Pad as the book base but instead of using scrap papers like I've done in the past, I used the Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue Paper Collection. I LOVE THE COLORS!!!!! Every page in this book makes me smile. Maybe I'm just nuts, but at least I am a happy one..... hehehehe.

There are 21 pages in this book which would mean 42 photos so to see them all, please go to You Tube and you can see the WHOLE thing on my video. This is the link, I think... http://youtu.be/7RmW8rjp8r0

I will try and put a You Tube Link on here somewhere....ANOTHER new thingy! Sigh.....

Or just do a search for Paperkitz on You Tube!!! That would probably be your best bet until further notice...(HUGS!!!)

Slam Folder

I have to laugh about the new Smash Books as we have been making those books since the 70's but called them Slam Books. I remember the teachers taking them from us if we had them at school. Some were full of journaling and questions that we would pass around to our friends to add comments/answers to and some were full of sketches and pictures torn from magazines. Here is one that I made from an old file folder for a friend whose birthday was in May and I STILL haven't given it to her! Music is a big part of her life and I added pockets and tags to this so shall we call it "Smash" Folder? I love how history repeats itself and gets a little better each time! I wonder where all those old slam books are today?!

9 Tag Page Mini Album

Here is a mini album I made in May for one of my grand daughter's birthday. Mostly made from Bo Bunny Designer Paper and Stampin' Up! Cardstock. I love the long skinny albums and designed a page that will hold 9 tags so plenty of spots for pictures.

12 Different Embellishments Ideas From ONE STAMPIN' UP! PUNCH!

One of the first punches I received from Stampin' Up! was the Modern Label Extra Large Punch (#119849, P202) and I thought...nice. Then I started using it and thought "This could be a flower! This could be a pull tab! This could be a tiny mini album!" It's not just a nice label punch anymore.....It's a fabulous punch that packs a PUNCH! Here we go:

Idea #1...Label (DUH?)

Idea #2...Faux Frame (Kind of another DUH!)

Idea #3...Pull Tab on Tags! I'm was getting tired of using circles and these look so neat!

Idea #4...Banner

Idea #5...Ribbon on Pinwheel or hanging down from any other embellishment! Loop them over a ribbon, for example.

Idea #6...Chubby Bow

Idea #7...Primitive Heart Butterfly

Idea #8...Mini Tag Book

Idea #9...OK...let's "Kit" it up a notch!....Flower

Idea #10..Daisy

Idea #11..Scalloped Flower

Idea #12..Ribbon Buckle

And all from one punch! You don't have to wait on that flower punch to arrive now...just a few labels, add a circle and PRESTO.....a flower! If you don't have one yet, just click on the Fancy Gal above and order you one! I've punch over 500 punches on mine and it's still punching clean! How amazing is that....great quality and easy to use and it folds flat and locks for storage. It could only be better if it was made out of chocolate! Orders up to $69.50 ship for a flat fee of $6.95 and if you hurry you can still get in on the Sale-A-Bration FREE STAMPS for every $50.00 you spend!

Here is the guest of honor being mobbed by it's fan club.....

I rescued it and here is what you are ordering, except your's will be shiny and new and not used 500 times! Thank you!

I Am Teaming Up With Stampin' Up!

After a long hard look at which direction I want to take in life, I have decided to try to expand my Mini Album Designs by joining Stampin' Up!, staying with my creative side for this New Year and seeing where that Adventure takes me. In doing that, I need to expand beyond just making Mini Albums so have spent the last couple of days sketching and making some card designs. Here are three of my cards I have actually finished! I haven't received my initial kit yet so am working with the only three sets of SU stamps I have and two of them are retired! I am waaaaay behind the times!!! I'm sure I will get better as I spend more time on doing this....I keep having this desire to add several pages to my cards! LOL! Old habits........... If any of you are with Stampin' Up!, I'd love to hear from you.

I think I will be able to link my blog to my Stampin' Up! website and you can see all the fabulous items they offer....so inspiring! I will be posting new designs on my blog as I make them so please keep checking in and letting me know what you think of them. If you would like any information about the Stampin' Up! products, please contact me and I will be glad to help!
