Teeny Tiny Inchie Boxes

I have been having more fun making these stacking triple inchie boxes! I call them Wally's Triple Inchie Boxes due to the family joke about Wally wrapping my Christmas presents in several boxes....inside each other. A small piece of jewelry looks like a small sports car by the time he is done wrapping and gets it under the tree! I am uploading the video on You Tube that gives the dimensions and shows how to cut all three of these boxes, including lids and accordion fold out strips to play with these yourselves! The video will also show you how to make the raggedy edge flowers and leaves and give you ideas for embellishing. All from only 1 sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper! The photos shows them opened, then closed and then stacked inside each other. Makes a neat little swap or RAK project. Let me know what you think and if you are going to try them...I'd love to see yours! Hugs!

Mini Album and Inchie Boxes

I am in the process of uploading the Project 3 You Tube Video from my 52 Mini Album Journals and Such so only 49 more to go! LOL....... These are my Pop Top Box Albums. The larger ones are made from one sheet of 12 x 12 and will hold a ton of wallet size photos. Or they could be used for journaling and/or collage! The smaller ones are made from scraps and are for inchies and twinchies or whatever! Maybe diamonds?! Once you learn the basic boxes, you can make them bigger or smaller depending on your mood! EASY......and FUN! Let me hear your thoughts, please and thank you! Hugs!

Tags, Pockets and Envelope!

Project Two of my 52 Mini Album Journals and Such is making three tags, pockets and an envelope from only 1 sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper. The two You Tube videos (Part A and Part B) are uploading now so if you like, please go watch how to make them. (Search Paperkitz) The reason there are so many in the photo is because I had to start over THREE times.....me and the video camera were having fightin' words! It is supposed to video for an hour. Mine seems to want to take naps and go for a coffee break when ever the mood hits it so I am yakking away, cutting my paper and having a good old time and I look up and the light is off. I seem to have been visiting with MYSELF for the last 10 minutes! Anyway, these are some different designs and instead of having to run to the shop to buy some....make them yourself out of your left over papers! Hope you have fun!

Gigi's Grandpeeps Birdhouse Mini

Here is my birdhouse mini that I showed how to make on my last You Tube Video....all decorated!  I know I said I wanted to do one with bright colors to put pics of the Grandbabies in, but after doing the video, I LOVED the Glitz Paper I used and knew I didn't want to give it away.  A sure way for me to keep something is.....Put Pics of the Babes In It!  Thought it might give you some ideas on what to do with yours.  Remember, you can make around SIX of these base albums in an hour so get Crackin'!  Use up that extra paper!LOL....Hugs!

Sewing Mini Album Journal

Here is another mini I made using a version of Jennibellie's spine system.  Now I can keep track of all those sewing projects I do.  Used cards and envelopes for pockets.  Organized and ready to sew!  LOVE using corrugated cardboard!

Making bracelets while watching the Super Bowl!

Margaret's Birdhouse

I was thinking about what to take as a gift to a party for a friend of ours that was turning 60.  She loves country and birdhouses and I don't really do county designs....vintage and primitive, yes, but not really classic country.  I decided to go for an eclectic country combining some of my vintage with cheerful colors revolving around a more bright blue instead of country blue.  The corrugated card was just the thing to tie it all together, I do believe!  And she loved it!  Here are some photos so you can judge if you think she really liked it or was just being nice!  To see the full journey in creating this mini album journal, please check out my You Tube Video that I will hopefully have uploaded by tomorrow!
