Margaret's Birdhouse

I was thinking about what to take as a gift to a party for a friend of ours that was turning 60.  She loves country and birdhouses and I don't really do county designs....vintage and primitive, yes, but not really classic country.  I decided to go for an eclectic country combining some of my vintage with cheerful colors revolving around a more bright blue instead of country blue.  The corrugated card was just the thing to tie it all together, I do believe!  And she loved it!  Here are some photos so you can judge if you think she really liked it or was just being nice!  To see the full journey in creating this mini album journal, please check out my You Tube Video that I will hopefully have uploaded by tomorrow!

  1. Kit this album is FABULOUS!!! I looove the cardboard (one of my favorite materials), and the wonderful blue roof, the pages, everything is gorgeous! Your friend must have been super happy with her gift! I'm looking forward to see the video, as I'm very interested on how you made this album. Then I might be able to make one too! :) Great work, as always.

  2. Thank you, Sonja! I, too, love the corrugated card....feels good to the touch and is so lightweight.....the books feel like they are floating! I will work on getting the projects together as I can't even imagine how long it will take to make videos for 52 mini album journals and such! LOL. You may have to come over here and HELP me! xxx
