Are You..........

a Liver or a Googler? I'm not sure that Googler is even a real word but I'm going with it until I am corrected. Maybe it's Googlista? We'll ponder that later....much later! I think I am a little of both. There are days I like to get out into Life and live ever minute of it and then there are days I just want to stay in my PJ's and Google it. Did you know you can spend hours in Portland or LA or Sidney or London and never even get dressed?! Of course you did.....it's through the Blog World, isn't it? I can't believe how many fabulous Blogs there are out there. You can sit on someone's back patio chatting with them and then they can take you around to their hangouts and show you parts of their town that you never would have found on your own. AND you don't even have to worry about whether you have on clean underwear! So, so amazing...and fun...and inexpensive! Although, some of my Blog visits have resulted in me SHOPPING as they entice me with all their worldly goods and classes! SIGH.....I guess we could ask if they would just GIVE us something, but that does seem a little unfair....after all their great hospitality! So I would love to hear where you like to "travel" to when you have one of those days when you just don't want to get out of those Jammies! I am going to try to link all my favorites to this Blog if I can get through the techie part! Oh, and as a footnote....there are times when I am a Masterpiece Theaterer (Pride and Prejudice Swooner)....or Bridget Jones Diaryer....or, well you get the drift. I LOVE Colin Firth! LOL.... Hugs and wishes for a happy day, however you want to spend it!

  2. If I understood your question well, I will answer that I am mostly a blog lover. I enjoy reading blogs, looking at the photos and imagining I'm with that person, chatting and drinking coffee. :) Another passion of mine is reading books. Opening a door to a different world, traveling...But at the end, it's all mostly equal - the real world and "imaginary" one.
    xo!

  3. You both are Women of the World, my friends! I have spent a big part of today in LA with Mary Ann Moss and have even signed up for her Remains of the Day class. I actually cried over the loss of her cat, Buck, and visited with her Sister in Kansas. I am now thinking about getting out my crochet hook and try to make a sweater for my pet rock. I didn't get across the pond at all today. The night is still young, though! Do you put links to all your favorite Blogs on your Blog or do you hide them in a secret place? Xxx

  4. Kit, you just never cease to delight me! I have to say, you are one of my favorite persons to visit! I looked at the word "liver" and thought, "WHAT"?! O.K., my son has said that God forgot to give me blond hair, LOL! So now that I understand the question, I'm definitely a Googler. The world has shrunk to my little corner of it. I don't have a formal list yet but I would sure like to see yours. (Excuse me while I go google Mary Ann Moss!) Hugs

  5. Hi Sarah! You always make me smile! Dispatch from LA on type pad is Mary Ann's blog. Did you find her? I am trying to get a list going down the lower right side of my Blog that updates every time they post. You are on there! Hugs!

  6. Crochet is another love of mine, which I learned thanks to dear Internet!
I keep my favorite blogs on my blog so that I could visit regularly, but I also like to jump from blog to blog, following their blog lists. It's fun and you never know what you could find that way! :)

  7. Yes, a googler, I be. I like to start on my list and then look through other blogger lists. Meanwhile my calico, Domino hops onto my lap, nearly knocking everything off the desk while trying to settle herself down.

  8. Hi, I'm a big fan of your tutorials posted on u tube. Thx for sharing. I'm a lover of P&P also and wanted to recommend to you another miniseries (4hrs) from the BBC and that is North and South with Richard Armitage. The series is based on the book by Elizaeth Gaskell and set in Victorian England. Everything from the cast to the musical score is fabulous. It is available on DVD. I know you will enjoy it if you haven't seen it already.
    Hugs!
